Organized in collaboration between International Kingdom (Thailand) and Speak Up London, this unique program focuses on personal development, international networking, and preparing participants to become successful leaders on the global stage. The program enhances participants' leadership and public speaking skills, including self-discovery, personality development, confidence building, and broadening horizons. Additionally, training alongside participants from various fields fosters cultural exchange and the creation of valuable networks essential for future leadership.
London, a city rich in magnificent history and diverse culture, beautifully blends the old with the modern. Selected participants of the London Cross-Cultural Leadership and Public Speaking Summit will experience the wonders of London at every turn, from learning international leadership skills to living in a city that is the heart of the world of education and communication.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn through renowned museums, such as the British Museum, and will also visit and engage in activities with UCL (University College London), one of the world’s leading universities. This experience will allow all selected participants to experience international educational standards while learning from faculty and experts in leadership and communication.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA |
1. Age between 18-45 years.
2. Understanding of the English language.
3. Malaysian or Chinese citizens (Malaysian and Chinese nationals residing abroad are eligible to apply).
4. Good physical health with a positive attitude towards self-improvement and a willingness to learn about diverse cultures.
5. Demonstrates responsibility, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
6. No history of criminal offenses.
7. Willingness to comply with entry requirements and abide by the laws and ethical norms, including having a valid English proficiency test.
8. Individuals who have not previously received full scholarships from the UK government.

Only 25 individuals for the Malaysia group will be selected for the London Cross-Cultural Leadership and Public Speaking Summit. (Those selected will receive an invitation letter for leave or time off to participate in the program.)
PROGRAM DURATION |
This program has a total duration of 5 months, from December 2024 to April 2025.
Phase 1: December 15 - 31, 2024: Prepare documents and apply for a visa. The organizers will issue the necessary documents for the visa application and provide assistance throughout the process.
Phase 2: January 11 - February 9, 2025: Online learning before travel. Participants will take a course on leadership and personal development. Classes will be conducted online via Google Meet every Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Malaysia time).
Phase 3: April 8 - 22, 2025: Participate in activities at Speak Up London and University College London in the UK.
Below are the course details for the online pre-departure class:
MAIN ACTIVITIES DURING THE EXCHANGE IN THE UK FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS:
1. Participants will stay with carefully selected host families located in safe neighborhoods.
2. Every morning, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, participants will join workshops on public speaking, along with lessons on leadership and personal development at Speak Up London.
3. Selected participants will attend international classrooms to study Business English, focusing on communication in business contexts, such as workplace communication, negotiation, email writing, presentations, and meeting management, enabling effective communication in business situations.
4. In the afternoon, starting at 1:30 PM, participants will engage in activities at various locations, including famous museums in London, participate in events, and visit the world-renowned University College London, with opportunities for sightseeing as well.
5. Attend the graduation ceremony to receive certificates upon completing the program.
HIGHLIGHT: MUSEUM 1. British Museum: One of the largest and most famous museums in the world, located in the heart of London. It houses a collection of historical artifacts from around the globe. 2. National Gallery: An art museum with classical paintings by renowned artists like Leonardo da Vinci, Van Gogh, and others. 3. Science Museum: Showcasing exhibits on space exploration, medical advancements, and technology history. 4. Natural History Museum: A must-visit for natural science enthusiasts, featuring fossils, marine life, and Earth’s history exhibits. |
HIGHLIGHT: UNIVERSITY 1. University College London (UCL): A world-leading university and part of the prestigious "Russell Group," known for its excellence in education and research. 2. Regent's University: Located in Regent’s Park, this university specializes in business, arts, and social sciences. The teaching here is intensive and directly linked to the business world. 3. Queen Mary University: Situated in the East End of London, it is recognized for its high-quality research. |
Note: In the first week of the program, participants will visit University College London (UCL), and in the second week, they will visit either Regent's University or Queen Mary University (one university per week).

THE ABOVE EXPENSES FOR SELECTED PARTICIPANTS COVER:
1. Round-trip airfare from KL/Beijing to London (participants traveling from abroad can use a program-provided budget for self-booking their flights).
2. Orientation fees

4. Tuition for leadership and personal development training, which includes public speaking skills (12 hrs/ week for internal classes and 4 hrs/week for international classes, at 1 hr/ day).
5. Accommodation with a host family in a shared room, including breakfast and dinner in zones 3-4. A single room is available upon request for an additional fee.
6. Travel card valid for zones 3-4 for the entire two-week duration

- More than 300 words, not exceeding 600 words.
